Nestled in the rolling hills of southern Novato, Unity In Marin invites you to host your upcoming special event (wedding, life celebration, meeting) at our unique venue. We are conveniently located just 10 minutes from San Rafael, less than an hour from Napa Wine Country, and 30 minutes from San Francisco.
Located at Hamilton Field – which was decommissioned by the 1st Wing of the US Air Force in 1975 – UIM’s neighbors include the magnificently preserved and restored Hamilton Wetlands, Hamilton Field History Museum, Novato Arts Center, Marin Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Beso Bistro.
Our versatile campus includes a multi-use sanctuary, a beautiful courtyard with a flowing fountain, spacious lawn area, multiple meeting rooms, and a tranquil meditation garden. With its classic Mission-style architecture surrounded by lovingly maintained roses, wisteria, and palm trees, this distinctive venue offers an unforgettable experience for all.

Brandon Connaughton
Facilities & Events Manager
Brandon grew up in the North Bay and attended College of Marin and SRJC. His father’s family settled in the area in the late 60s when his Grandfather, Michael Joseph Connaughton, was stationed at Hamilton Field. They settled and bought a home in Petaluma and became members of the St Vincent’s Catholic Church. Brandon himself is a Buddhist of 14+ years.
In 2022, he won a 6 month battle with Follicular Lymphoma and decided he wanted to do something more exciting and fulfilling in life than staring at Excel Sheets and Delivery Maps.
He brings a diverse set of skills and patience from his time in technology education, print & sign making, local agriculture & tourism, plus a decade in the service industry to help you plan and implement the perfect event.
Brandon lives in Petaluma, enjoys cooking and photography, loves heavy metal, and is often accompanied by his dog, Lina.
