Drumming Circle ~ "DRUMMING & DANCING YOUR PRAYERS"

Please join your commUnity on Wednesday, May 30th for an evening of playing the language of rhythm!  Our drumming circle promotes healing of the soul and a deep sense of connection as we communicate our joy and love for one another through our drums.  No experience is necessary, and there are always extra drums.  Not a drummer but like to dance??  This service would be perfect for all of you who "Dance Your Prayers"!  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Steve Listug or Pamella Cavanna.

 

Wednesday June 6 in the Sanctuary ~ Be Still and Know

"NATIVE AMERICAN FLUTE & DIDGERIDOO SOUND HEALING”

Wrap yourself in the sound and healing vibration of the didgeridoo. Let the sound go into your ears, down your spine, through your body and into your heart. Treat yourself to the deep ancient rhythm of sound. The result is a rich musical experience unique to each person. Vladimir Cardema shares his gifts as a sound healer with Elisabeth Manning leading us in a grounding meditation to set the intention. Coordinated by Lisa Starbird.

 

 

Wednesday June 13 at the *Power Squadron ~ Centering in Prayer ~TAP YOUR PRAYERS

Join Prayer Chaplain Michelle Ercolini for an interactive adventure into creative prayer. There are NO LIMITS to how we can consciously commune with the Divine. We will: 1) Literally tap into our Higher Power. 2) Use meridian tapping to align our body, mind and spirit, raising the amplitude of our affirmations. 3) Use Ho’oponopono prayer in a way that would make Myrtle Fillmore proud. 4) Apply the words of a Sanskrit mantra to a very familiar melody. Opening prayer and introduction by Rev. Pat Palmer. Silent hands-on prayer by chaplains at your request. Coordinated by Bonnie Aby.

 * Please note we are not in the sanctuary June 13th. The Power Squadron is located at 789 Hamilton Parkway across the street from UIM, on the corner of Palm Dr. and Hamilton Pkwy.

 

Wednesday June 20 in the Sanctuary ~ Many Paths ~ A MIDSUMMER NIGHT SUMMER SOLSTICE: CELEBRATE THE LIGHT OF SPIRIT

Honoring the Sun shining in our hearts, Priestess Christiane Michaels and Compassionate Communication Love Coach, Scott Catamas, will lead us to delight in the sunlight of compassion. Come play at your “Fairy” best.  Magical chants by Sophia Songhealer to spark a mystically midsummer night dream for you. Tea and cookies will be served in our magical courtyard after the service as the summer solstice moon rises. Service coordinated by Lisa Starbird.

Leaders ~ “SUMMERTIME BLUES”

A Celebration!  We all know that we sing the blues from time to time.  Learning to dance with the blues is what we are going to be focusing on for this Emerging Leaders Service.  Unity In Marin member Michael LeValley will be guest speaking and joined by Local Bay Area Blues guitarists and vocalists.  Kris Bowman-Kreuzer, LUT coordinates this service. 

 

  

 A Love Offering of $10 to $20 is suggested for all Midweek Services.
