HEALING SERVICE ~ EMBRACING OUR SHADOW
MAY 8TH at 7:15 pm in the Sanctuary
Shira Marin, Ph.D., LMFT, will speak on the “Shadow,” that most often rejected part of ourselves. However, the “Shadow”, seen as a source of mystery, can be an intriguing inspiration to our human evolution. Come see how! Hands-on silent prayer provided by prayer chaplains at your request. Nixy Rickles will captivate us with her beautiful piano music.
MANY PATHS ~ GREAT MOTHER
May 15th at 7:15 in the Sanctuary
Join our exploration of the meaning of “Great Mother”. Experience a Native American medicine wheel. Sing and dance native chants with Rita McClain and Susan LaCroix. Listen, as Thomas Stephens raises his voice in song accompanied by Denise Ruelas. Bring your drum and your dancing shoes (some drums will be provided).
EMERGING LEADERS ~
May 22nd at 7:15 in the Sanctuary
In times of uncertainty and the unknown, we have the opportunity to rely on our faith and we get to remember that all is in Divine and right order. We may not understand when challenges and world events show up in our lives. We ask “why?”… and find out that there are some things that we will never know the answer to… Let yourself be spiritually supported with a mid-week boost with special music and presenters.
DRUMMING with Steve Listug
May 29th at 7:15 in the Sanctuary
Every 5th Wednesday the drum circle serves as a tool for UNITY where we empower each other and celebrate life through rhythm. All levels of musical expertise are invited. Unity In Marin was the recipient of 20 fabulous congas, African drums and more. So, if you do not have your own drum, one will be provided for you!! If you would like to just listen or dance to the music, please join us! This is an evening for the entire family!
No one is turned away for lack of funds.
