Reverend David McArthur, J.D.

David McArthur has served Unity churches for over 30 years. His ministries have included Missoula Montana, Spokane Washington and he is presently serving as senior minister at Unity of Walnut Creek, California. He has just completed his term as Chair of the Board of Trustees of Unity World Wide Ministries.

David’s passion for support to clergy and for spiritual learning led him to serve on the staff of the Institute of HeartMath® and HeartMath LLC for over seven years during which he was the Director of their Personal Empowerment and Religions Divisions. In that capacity, he has trained many Unity ministers as well as clergy and seekers from many spiritual paths in the HeartMath techniques and knowledge of the heart. He has also keynoted numerous religious conferences and worked with many not-for-profit organizations.

David is the co-author with his father of “The Intelligent Heart” describing how the scientific discoveries of HeartMath and the power of love bring personal transformation and spiritual growth. He entered ministry after a successful legal career during which he served as an Assistant Attorney General of New Mexico. He understands the heart as the doorway to our deepest connections with Spirit.
