This book is certainly a Unity Classic! Each chapt ... Read Moreer is chocked full of big paradigm shifting ideas and concepts that will rock your consciousness. Overall this is a book that isn’t focused on escaping from the world to experience our spirituality. Rather its focus is on Balancing a Spiritual Live and Earthly living.
“I invite you to read this excellent book describing the prosperous side of mysticism, then to enjoy the successful inner and outer results that your study can bring!”

We continue our series on Unity Classics. This wee ... Read Morek I am highlighting another Unity author, Mary Kupferle. The Book “GOD WILL SEE YOU THROUGH.” Love that title. One of the traits that I so appreciate about Unity authors is their precision and brevity when talking about a subject. If the idea can be outlined in half a dozen pages then there is no need for more!
I will be speaking on the chapter: Thank You, God! Thank You, God!
Come Listen. You will be thankful that you did!

Is it God's World - Sunday April 17th, 2016
Christine Morgan a long time member of Unity in Ma ... Read Morerin, and the heart and soul of our Bookstore, tells me that Charles Fillmore’s Atom Smashing Power of Mind was our founder Candida Wright’s favorite book. In this wonderful little book we find that Charles Fillmore was fascinated by our relationship to God and the Universe, and that over time came to believe that there is a universal life force that animates and sustains ALL forms and shapes of the universe. It was 1949 and everyone was interested in the study of atoms, but Fillmore was interested in more than just the physical power of the atom – he came to believe that by breaking into the power of the atom, humankind had come into direct contact with that primal life force that animates and connects our minds and bodies. So the question is, if we can smash the atom and come in direct contact with the life force that governs the universe, than just whose world is it? Is it God’s world – or is it ours? Join us this coming Sunday as we explore the Atom Smashing Power of OUR Minds as we follow Principle #3 to create our own experiences by what we choose to think.
Many Blessings,

Spiritual Science - Sunday April 10th, 2016
We continue our series on Classic Unity Books. Thi ... Read Mores Sunday. This weeks talk title is SPIRITUAL SCIENCE. The book is "How To Let God Help You", by Myrtle Fillmore.
These are some paradigm shifting ideas being shared in this book and in this chapter. For Example: “WE ARE STUDYING spiritual science to get a broader conception of God, rather than holding to the view that He is a personal being with parts like man, a being subject to change and capable of varying moods.”
Listen as we explore some of these paradigm shifting ideas!

We kick off our series on Classic Unity Books this ... Read More today. Today's talk title is Bondage or Liberty, Which? This is chapter one from LESSONS IN TRUTH, by H. Emilie Cady.
This is the quintessential Unity publication. This is one of those books that each time I read it, and I have read it many times, I find something new. To say the she was ahead of her time is an understatement. I see seeds that she planted in the 1800s being rediscovered by modern day spiritual masters. Read closely and you will see Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, Michael Beckwith etc…

Easter Sunday - Sunday March 27th, 2016
Today I am going to be focusing the Easter Story. ... Read MoreThis is a story of resurrection. But what has to happen to have a resurrection is to die to something first. This can be experienced without losing our physical life. How often have we died to something old and saw something new be born? Letting go of, jobs, careers, homes, relationships, outdated concepts of who we are.
Some changes come easy and some come hard. What’s on the other side of these changes is a journey. The disciples who were closest to Jesus were bereft when he was killed on the cross and buried in the tomb. How many of their thoughts dreams and hopes had they attached to Jesus the man? They were entombed with Jesus. Many disciples actually saw Jesus after he was resurrected. I am going to talk about one such incident during the service.
I look forward to sharing this with you!

I will talk about the origin of Communion as well as the metaphysics of this ritual.
In Unity we do not stress rituals for ritual sake. Yet in Unity we are not devoid of rituals. We have our own rituals.Just to name a couple, we sing the peace song and we have the burning bowl ritual. Rituals can be powerfully moving experiences.
I invite you to listen for a Communion Service. This will include Bread (including Gluten free bread), honey and non-alcoholic wine. But it will be far from a traditional Communion service experience you may have had in the past.

“No” answered the Buddha
“Then are you a healer?”
“No” Buddha replied.
“Then are you a teacher?” the student persisted.
“No I am not a teacher.”
“Then what are you?” asked the student exasperated.
“I am awake,” Buddha replied.

We Are Family - Sunday February 21st, 2016
Here at Unity In Marin we teach the metaphysical p ... Read Morehilosophy that we are all One, and for many of us this community is something that we call ‘home’. The system that governs our community is often called ‘a family’ and that can be tricky. For good, or not so good, all family systems have a structure that contains parts that are directly or indirectly related to each other whether we like it or not. As in all families, those of us who have been here for a while all know the ‘rules’, certain behaviors are expected. Our ‘family’ system can be open or closed – an open system welcomes the stranger, a closed system forgets to come early and stay late to talk to anyone we don’t already know.
Today we are going to see how each of us learned to be part of our ‘family’ from the teaching of our earliest fairy tales, through Bible stories, and straight through the marketplace to the current day. I am talking about how being 'family' is the way we all participate in the building blocks of our community. ‘Family’ is what makes us all who and what we are. Sometimes it is a good experience, sometimes not so good, but we are all in it together. Please join your other ‘family’ members as once again, we figure out how to grow together!
Many Blessings,

Three French Hens ~ Really???? - Sunday December 27th, 2015
Turns out this weeks talk didn’t go at all where I ... Read More expected it to go! But, the more I do this work the more I have come to believe that everything has a metaphysical meaning. I couldn’t find French Hens in the metaphysical bible dictionary, but here in Unity we do believe that we are all one and that includes the animal world and that includes French Hens! Now French Hens are a very special sort of chicken, and if we experience chickens in our animal totem world, it may be a clear message that we need to reevaluate our response to something that is going on in our lives right now. Are we responding from our heart or are we responding out of fear? Are we backing down when we should be standing up. Do we distract ourselves with chatter and unhealthy gossip? Do we listen – really listen – to what others have to say? It turns out that French Hens can be a symbol of our own great potential and that in order to achieve our dreams we must find the courage to overcome our fears. Please join us on this Third Day of Christmas as we develop our vision for overcoming fear.
