We would love to welcome you as a member.
Becoming a member confirms to you and your spiritual community your commitment to living a life of love, abundance, and meaning. It affirms a sense of commitment to personal spiritual growth, ownership of your individual beliefs, and a willingness to make a difference, to grow, and to change.
While you do not need to become a member to attend our services and participate in events and classes, there are many additional benefits to membership:
- Members can choose to be assigned a Prayer Chaplain, who makes a wellness call to them each month.
- Members receive discounts on Facility rentals.
- Members receive a Membership Certificate.
- Members have the opportunity to be involved in key church decisions, such as nominating and electing members to the Board of Trustees.
Unity In Marin welcomes all people to join us irrespective of race, class, creed, color, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or political affiliation.
We offer a three-step path to membership.
- Commit to the New Member Class. This class is offered each quarter and will help you decide whether you want to become a member at this time. Learn about Unity, its history, the basic principles, and the application of those principles in your daily life. At the conclusion of the class, you have one year to apply for membership.
- Volunteer in our community. There is a wide variety of volunteer opportunities within our spiritual community. To find out how you can serve, visit our Volunteer page or come to our Welcome Table in the courtyard on Sunday mornings.
- Complete the Membership Application Form. Click the link below to submit your application, or request a hard copy from the office.
Current Membership Renewal
Membership at Unity In Marin must be renewed yearly and responsibilities include consistent attendance at UIM Sunday Services, financial and volunteer support, and attendance at classes and workshops.
