Living in Two Worlds

Starts November 16th!

Text: Walter Starcke's 'The Double Thread'.

Class Description:   Materialism is a fatal philosphy for those of us on the path of realizing the one unity. Yet, all of our conditioning biases us toward this pitfall. In this time together we will move toward reconciling the two facets of life, the finite one which persuades us by appearance and societal agreement, and the infinite one grasped by love. Class emphasis will be on allowing this fuller awareness to more powerfully influence our life choices.

We will use passages from various texts including: Living in Two Worlds (Starcke) The Perennial Philosophy (Huxley) The Holotropic Mind (Grof).

Tuition:  $20/class; $50 for all three.

Length:  3 Wednesdays

Dates:  November 16, 23, 30

Time: 7:15pm - 9:15pm
