Henry Novak
Henry Novak has been actively involved in Unity for over 10 years. He joined Unity Church of the Hills in Austin, Texas, in 2001, where he served as a prayer chaplain; Y.O.U. sponsor and high school teacher; Team Leader of the Finance Team; member of the Bylaws Team; and member of the Project Management Team of the New Church Expansion Program. Henry moved from Austin to San Rafael in December 2009, and joined Unity In Marin in April 2010. He has served UIM as a prayer chaplain and is presently a member of the Education Steering Team and Team Leader of the Science and Spirituality Sector of the Education Ministry. Henry has practiced law for over 35 years, including seven years as an assistant United States Attorney in Los Angeles and Houston. He is a member of the Institute of Noetic Sciences located in Petaluma; Southern Marin Toastmasters in Mill Valley; and is a certified Hospice Volunteer. Henry is the author of the Colorado Alternative Medicine Practices Act, passed by the Colorado Legislature in 2007. He lives in San Rafael with his partner, Lynne Law. His personal interests include social psychology, quantum physics, philosophy, Eastern mysticism, meditation, classical music, and hiking.
