Due to the stunning devastation and losses from the Sonoma & Napa fires, the Grief Support Circle has been expanded to also include all who have suffered any related loss.

This is a safe place to share and experience spiritual and emotional support around your loss. Based on the principles of Attitudinal Healing, which states that the essence of our being is love and we are all teachers and students together on this journey.

Janet brings to Unity in Marin over 35 years of experience facilitating spiritual/emotional support groups, and co-leading loss and grief workshops. She was trained at the Center for Attitudinal Healing, previously in Tiburon and Sausalito, and uses the Principle of Attitudinal Healing and Guidelines in the groups. Within the safety of the group, we utilizing the power of love and forgiveness to bring inner peace.
In 1965 Janet graduated from San Jose State College. As to careers, she worked for 11 years as a Medical Technologists at V.A. Hospital in Palo Alto, John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek and San Francisco General Hospital. At S.F. General she set up and supervised quality control in the chemistry department. In 1978 she embark upon a Real Estate career, obtaining her broker license in 1985. Now almost retired, with the desire serve and make the world a better place, she volunteers as a teachers aid teaching English as a second language with Canal Alliance, and is a docent in the Gravity Car Barn near the top of Mt Tam . . .
